NLRB Calls for Re-Vote in Unionization Election
Following the NLRB’s Wednesday ruling that Harvard failed to “substantially compl[y] with voter list requirements”, the Board recommended that another election be scheduled for eligible voters. The recommendation clarified that a re-vote need only take place if HGSU-UAW’s unionization effort fails. John J. Walsh, Jr., the NLRB’s regional director, will finalize the election decision. Union organizer Eben Lazarus remains optimistic and excited about the re-vote, while other voters claim that the NLRB decision unfair and possibly biased in favor of unionization.
