NLRB official recommends a redo of an Alabama Amazon warehouse’s union election
On Monday, an NLRB official found that Amazon had interfered with an Alabama warehouse union election and recommended a rerun. In the election, Alabama warehouse employees overwhelmingly voted against organizing efforts by the RWDSU. Amazon says they will appeal if the NLRB chooses a re-vote. During the election, Amazon installed a mailbox for ballots, erected a tent around the mailbox with company paraphernalia, had security cameras overlooking the mailbox, and distributed anti-union paraphernalia. Amazon denies that these actions interfered with the election.
