In September, the NLRB proposed a rule that would disclude undergraduate and graduate student workers from employee status. If this rule were to pass, it would undermine the unionization efforts of these student groups. The NLRB is required to collect comments on proposed rules, and in doing so received more than 12,000 comments on this issue.
