NLRB upholds unfair labor ruling at Chicago bus company
The NLRB has upheld an administrative judge's ruling that Latino Express Inc., a Chicago area school bus company, illegally fired two drivers and committed other unfair labor practices in order to stifle organization efforts. The two fired employees have been reinstated. Other findings include that the company prohibited workers from discussing working conditions and wages, and attempted to convince workers not to organize by offering them benefits. The workers are now represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 777.
