No Labor Shift Seen at Wal-Mart
Despite reaching an agreement with yet another overseas labor union, Wal-Mart Stores Inc. is clear that there will be no softening of their antagonistic stance towards domestic organization efforts. While China joins a growing list of countries that have forced the retailer to accept unionization, statements by representatives of the retailers indicate that the company will continue its efforts to keep unions out of its U.S. stores.
