Nokia to cut thousands of jobs in Finland: union
Stephen Elop, the chief executive of Nokia, claims that the company?s new reform measures affecting employment in Finland and elsewhere cannot be currently estimated because it is too early. But Antti Rinne, the chairman of Ammattiliito Pro union, estimates that thousands of jobs will be lost. About 19,800 of Nokia?s 132,000 employees are from Finland.
