Northern California supermarket workers call in strategist for contract talks
After supermarket workers in Northern California authorized a strike, talks between the two groups have continued to flounder. Talks between the two sides have been ongoing since last fall. The two sides are expected to continue talks this week with the continued help of a federal mediator. The company said that they will meet only if the union brings a new proposal to the table. The union says that they will make some concessions, but that the company is asking for too much.
