NUJ offers to call off BBC strike
The National Union of Journalists says that it will call off a 48 hour strike planned for next Monday and Tuesday if disciplinary charges are dropped against three employees. The NUJ met with members today to discuss further action. The BBC has agreed to meet with the NUJ and other unions if the strike is called off.
