The New York State United Teachers union (NYSUT) has spoken out against New York’s vaccine mandate. Last week, Governor Cuomo announced that all state workers must get vaccinated or undergo regular testing. NYSUT says that they would support programs to encourage more vaccinations but not a vaccine mandate. They say that is critical that school districts “come up with plans to make testing available on-site and at no cost.”
