Several years ago, NYU created a ?statement of labor values? to be used in the construction of its international campuses after receiving criticism over its choice to build campuses in countries with notoriously poor working conditions. After review, it appears that NYU violated this pledge when constructing its Abu Dhabi campus and may have violated it while constructing the Shanghai campus as well.
