Obama: Benefits and more schooling
University and college leaders in New Hampshire vowed to rally support for a new measure introduced by the Obama administration to help unemployed workers further their education. The plan would alter the rules for employment insurance by allowing workers to keep their benefits if they decide to go back to school. Under current guidelines, workers often forfeit their benefits if they decide to go back to school. Educators across the country hailed the plan as an effective way of removing the obstacles that deter unemployed workers from furthering their education.
