Obama Making Millions More Americans Eligible for Overtime
The Labor Department and President Obama announced Monday that salaried Americans making $50,440 or less will now be eligible for time-and-a-half overtime compensation, raised from the former $23,660 threshold. The millions of Americans affected won’t be able to see changes until 2016, and the rule will likely be challenged in court.
