Obama to propose ?grand bargain? for jobs to GOP
President Obama is expected to propose a compromise to Republicans regarding upcoming budget deadlines in a speech Tuesday. The plan would cut corporate tax rates in exchange for investments in job creation. A rough draft of the plan includes a one-time revenue boost to pay for the jobs investment. Republican opposition is likely to take on the flavor that a revenue adjustment to pay for the jobs investment could hurt small businesses.
