Office layouts changing as employees return in-person after remote work
Open-concept office designs have become popular recently as employers try to encourage collaboration and transparency amongst workers after a long period of remote work. However, workers have expressed a preference for more privacy in the office as they have enjoyed and come to expect it after working from home. As a result, new trends are emerging within the workplace to create sectioned-off quiet zones as well as new cubicle designs that allow for degrees of collaboration.
