Ohio union law ballot issue faces Monday deadline
The deadline for the Ohio group We Are Ohio to request the removal of a repeal of an anti-collective bargaining bill is Monday. The group says that the only way they will remove the bill from the ballot is if the legislature repeals the bill itself. The bill was signed in March, and restricts collective bargaining rights for public employees and completely eliminates the right to strike. The governor had asked to meet with We Are Ohio to discuss the bill, but the coalition refused.
