Online job searches go beyond e-mail
Career experts warn that while the internet can be a very helpful tool in finding a job, it should not be the sole method relied upon by job seekers. They recommend that employees sending their resumes via e-mail follow it up with a hard copy and a cover letter. They advise that communication between the employer and applicant is very important. It is also suggested that job seekers use the internet to perform background research about companies and study business and industry trends.
