Pay Rising Sharply for Young, Low-Wage Workers
Lately younger workers in low paid jobs are seeing a trend of wage increases. Individuals earning 20,000 to 50,000 a year experienced a 4.9% wage increase and those making less than 20,000 experienced a 5.4% wage increase in 2014. Economists believe that the end of the recession may be the driving force behind the recent wage increases.
