Perception of migrant workers in the UK shifts more positively as employers seek to fill vacancies in labor force
According to a recent survey, the UK has experienced a large shift in the acceptance of economic migration and is now one of the most accepting places for foreign workers in the world. Compared to other advanced economies, people in Britain are less likely to believe that workers from the home country should be given priority by employers for jobs. These changes coincide with a tight labor market in the UK as employers lean in favor of migration to help fill millions of job vacancies.
