Pointers to put the kibosh on your `killer commute'
More than 10 million Americans have to deal with a very long commute to work. This situation is complicated by the frequency with which people change jobs and spouses having jobs in opposite directions. Alan Pisarski, one of the nation's leading experts on commuting, suggests that people test-drive commutes before buying a new home, plan alternate routes, and be realistic about the option of telecommuting.
