Police Staff in England and Wales to Strike over Pay
Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) recently demanded a 3% wage increase, which was met with a return offer of 1%. The PCSOs have now scheduled their first strike in the past 25 years set to begin after December 22nd and last for four weeks. The workers, represented by Unisom, have experienced a 13% pay decline as a result of inflation.
