Port Hedland Engineers to Strike, Risking Iron Shipments
On November 12th, workers at Australia?s Institute of Marine & Power Engineers, will participate in a four-hour strike. This strike will stop the tugboats at Port Headland and cause disruptions with estimated costs of $100 million. The union also threatened to strike in August but that was later called off.
