Los Angeles and Long Beach truck drivers are continuing to strike in protest against supposed wage theft. The drivers claim that they are improperly classified as independent contractors, which means they receive lower pay and fewer workplace protections. The drivers who are striking constitute about 3.5% of the trucks registered in these areas.
