Post-pandemic, employee disengagement is on the rise and contributing to quiet quitting
A recent Gallup poll has indicated that there has been a larger decline in employee engagement amongst workers with roles that could be remote but are in person instead. Since the pandemic, disengagement has been a rising issue in the workplace, prompting trends like quiet quitting. Additionally, the research found that younger workers have lower engagement levels than more experienced employees. As a result, companies and managers have been recommended to engage in meaningful conversations with employees to facilitate workplace wellbeing and workforce retainment.
