Post-pandemic, younger workers more likely than older coworkers to be working in person
A recent survey has found that the majority of employed Americans are currently working in person rather than remotely, and the percent of people working remotely has fallen since last year. In particular, younger workers are more likely to be working in the office due to the in person mentoring and socializing that occurs. However, this data is not necessarily representative of all workers' preferences as there is a gap between the number of those working in the office and those who desire to do so. Additionally, there are discrepancies amongst the preferences for hybrid work, as more workers prefer hybrid models than currently work that way.
