Postal workers stage second hunger strike as House-Senate talks on legislation continue
A group of former and current postal workers are launching a second hunger strike to protest the proposed changes to the US Postal Service. One proposed cut to services could lead to a reduction of 25,000 jobs. The workers say that they want to stop the Congress from passing legislation until next year. The House and Senate have been attempting to come up with a solution for the postal service all year, but have been unable to do so. The workers staged a previous hunger strike in June.
