Presence of Communists grows at Wal-Mart China
The Chinese Communist Party has gained a foothold in the Wal-Mart Corporation, as employees at the retailer?s Chinese headquarters have opened a party branch. Faced with a decline among state-owned businesses, the Communist Party has recently sought to expand beyond that traditional base into foreign-owned businesses, whose presence has been expanding rapidly.
