Promoting Learning on The Job
Companies are continually facing intensifying competition, an accelerating pace of change, and exponentially expanding opportunity all at the same time in today's economy. Despite growing productivity, the average return on assets (ROA) for U.S. companies has fallen to almost one quarter of what it was in 1965. This is erosion of performance is caused by a variety of factors, but one of the critical factors is how quickly accelerating change increases the rate at which existing knowledge becomes obsolete. To respond to this issue, companies have ramped up there company training programs using e-learning platforms.
