Protesters Take to Street in Madrid
Thousands of protesters surrounded the Spanish Parliament on Tuesday in protest of austerity plans. Police ringed the building to keep demonstrators away from the building. In return for loans, the government has agreed to more austerity measures. Lenders to the country have set strict budget deficit reduction targets, however most voters oppose the new measures. The leader of one of Spain's largest regions has called for an early election, as well as two other regions in Spain. Analysts warn that the outcome of those election could cause more problems for the country.
