Public workers' strike halts British services
A strike by public workers over pensions in Britain left schools closed, trash uncollected, and libraries shut on Tuesday. Unison, one of the country's largest unions, said more than a million people refused to go to work in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, and called it the biggest strike in decades.
