Qantas considers offshore option
Although Qantas Airlines experienced a record profit last year, the company has confirmed it is looking into offshoring a possible 7,000 jobs in order to make considerable savings and remain competitive. Unions argue that the move is unnecessary since the company?s profits were strong last year and indications for this year point to even greater profit.
