Qatar has recently issued statements saying that the country is committed to improving working conditions for the migrant workers building the stadium for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. However, at this moment there is no set timeframe for these reforms. Currently, the migrant workers are employed by a sponsor employer. Legislation was introduced Monday that could end this system.
