Queens Library Set to Hire 50 New Employees and Replace Private Cleaning Crew with Staff
The Queens Library received a funding boost of $2.8 million allowing the library to make plans to hire 50 new workers and replace the private cleaning crew with staff. As of now, 19 new full-time clerks and librarians have already been hired. These are the first full-time employees hired by the library since 2008.
