Quincy strike draws attention from surrounding districts
Another late night round of negotiating failed to end an illegal strike by Quincy, MA teachers. The strike, now in its third day, came after 18 months of contract negotiations failed to secure an agreement between school board officials and the Quincy Education Association. Teachers and officials in other districts are watching the confrontation closely to see how their own contract negotiations might be affected.
