Qwest, Union Yet to Reach Contract Deal
Qwest Communications and the union representing its workers have yet to reach a new contract, with the old deal having expired at midnight Saturday. The employees, represented by the Communications Workers of America, have continued their work at Qwest despite having no new contract, though contingency plans have been made if there is a walkout. Overtime and pensions are two issues that have yet to be resolved.
