Recent survey reveals employee sentiment about their employers’ level of care about employee wellbeing
According to a new survey released by Gallup, American workers warm and fuzzy feelings about how they were being treated by their employers has declined back to pre-pandemic numbers. A month into the national lockdown 49% of workers said they felt their employers genuinely cared about them, up from the typical response of 25%. Now in their newest survey in 2022, employee cynicism has returned with only 24% of workers saying their bosses genuinely cared. The Gallup survey found strong correlation between clear and frequent communication and feelings of care.
