Recruiting agency in the UK loses its seasonal workers license due to negligence of its workers' debts
In Britain, a recruiting agency focused on bringing Indonesian farmers over to the UK as seasonal workers, called AG Recruitment, lost its license due to its large debts owed to foreign brokers. The agency has claimed that it was unaware that the Indonesian brokers had been charging money and subsequently any wrongdoing. However, the agency lost its license was because many of the seasonal workers it brought over overstayed to work on the black market to pay off their debts. As a result, some have criticized AG Recruitment for failing seasonal workers through their negligence.
