Report: Even with a job, insurance is no longer a sure thing
A new report says that more workers are finding jobs that are part-time or contract jobs, which make health care benefits unlikely. The report estimates that about 40% of workers in jobs that were not full time did not have health insurance, compared with about 27% four years ago. The report also draws attention to the lack of data on the types of jobs people have as collected by the Census Bureau.
