Bank of America's acquisition of LaSalle Bank Corp. will cost the Chicago area more than 10,500 jobs over the next two years, according to a report released Wednesday. While Bank of America claimed that no staffing decisions had yet been made and that any analysis made at this point would be "premature", concerns remain regarding the effect on the city's economy.
