Report Shows a Mere 80,000 Jobs Added in U.S. in October
According to new Labor Department report, 80,000 jobs were added to the economy in October, slightly less than what economists had predicted. The report also revised job growth in September and August to higher than previously reported. Economists say that the odds of a double-dip recession are lower. The average time workers have been unemployed is 39.4 weeks. The unemployment rate dropped from 9.0% to 9.1%.
