Resolution reached in Japan pay flap
Major league baseball have agreed to pay the coaches of the Boston Red Sox for a series of games to be played in Japan in the face of a threatened boycott by players. The players had voted unanimously to refuse to travel to Tokyo if coaches were not payed an appearance fee that players claimed was part of the initial contract. While there is still some debate as to who was at fault in the dispute, the overseas games seem to be on track again.
