Right-to-Work Law Applies to State Workers
Michigan judges voted Thursday regarding the recent union effecting right-to-work law. The lawsuit was filed by unionized workers and rejected 2-1. The law prohibiting mandatory due payments from public and private workers now includes state employees. The policy decision intends to equalize all work conditions, although critics have emerged in The Civil Service Commission and the largely unionized labor force of Michigan.
