Rise in Employment Slows Prompting New Fears for UK Economic Recovery
Even with 112,000 jobs added in August, the UK unemployment rate has still not fallen below 6%. However, wages did increase by 1.2% over the last three months. The overall number of UK citizens that are currently unemployed fell to the lowest levels seen since 2008 settling at 1.69 million.
