Robotics and Youth Unemployment in China
While China boasts a very low youth unemployment rate of 4.1 percent, experts argue that the accurate rate should be somewhere between 8.1 and 20 percent. Oddly enough, youth in China with higher education degrees actually face a higher unemployment rate. This phenomenon is a result of the Chinese job economy being largely based on low-skill workers in manufacturing and construction.
