Russia Plans to Use Prison Labor for 2018 World Cup
In 2018, Russia will host the World Cup. In an effort to cut costs, the Russian government has proposed that prisoners are used to help build the structures for the event. In the past, Russia's labor camps have been criticized for having poor working conditions and low wages. Russia is under economic pressure, as the country saw the Ruble fall significantly at the end of 2014.
