Ryanair Clashes With Denmark Over Labor Laws
Irish airline Ryanair?s latest controversy is the hiring of Danish employees with Irish labor contracts, which might allow the airline to avoid Danish laws covering wages and worker protections. A Copenhagen labor tribunal is set to rule on the issue. Copenhagen Mayor Frank Jansen banned the city?s employees from using Ryanair in May, a move that Ryanair has claimed breaks EU law.
