Samsung China Assembler Employs Child Workers, Group Says
A new report from a labor rights organization found that a factory producing goods for Samsung in China hired children and violated other labor laws. The report found that children working in the factory were exposed to dangerous conditions. The group also found that workers worked 11 to 13 hour long shifts, and had few breaks. Samsung says that they have audited the factory in the past, but will do so again in light of the report.
