Samsung under fire for alleged labor abuses in Brazil
A lawsuit has been filed against the electronics company Samsung for alleged labor violations at one of their Brazil factories where smartphones are assembled. The suit was filed after an inspection by the Brazilian Ministry of Labor and Employment revealed that many employees were working consecutive 10 to 15 hour days without breaks. The plaintiffs are seeking $110 million in damages.
