San Francisco restaurant workers recoup pay in settlement
According to the Department of Labor, over 200 workers in San Francisco have received back pay and overtime that was legally owed to them. The agency found that many businesses in the city were in violation of minimum wage and overtime laws. Workers from 18 restaurants will receive back pay. The investigators said that most workers were Hispanic or Chinese and worked as servers, cooks and bussers.
