Workers at Sears Holdings Corp., formed by the merger of Sears, Roebuck and Co. and Kmart Holding Corp., are awaiting announcements about job cuts. It is expected that cuts at the headquarters in Hoffman Estates will reach beyond 500. The layoffs began in late March and are expected to continue until July 1.
