Sedentary office workers try standing desks
More companies are using new solutions to solve problems caused by jobs requiring employees to be at a desk, including standing desks and desks with treadmills attached. Researcher say that even those workers who get the recommended 30 minutes of exercise a day are not staving off health problems caused by sitting for eight hours or more. While researchers say that standing all day may not be the best solution for everyone, they do recommend spending less time in a chair.
